Terms of Service

1. About MyDreamVid and these Terms

MyDreamVid (“we”, “us”) provides web tools and a developer API that generate videos and images from text prompts and reference media, using third-party AI models. These Terms of Service govern your use of the website, the workspace, and the API (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
• The Service is not directed to, and is not offered in, mainland China.
• You are responsible for making sure your use of the Service is lawful where you live.

3. Your account

• Keep your password and API keys confidential. Everything done through your account or your keys is treated as done by you.
• Provide a working email address — it is how receipts and password resets reach you.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share, sell, or transfer an account.
• We may suspend or restrict an account when necessary to protect the Service, other users, or our suppliers.

4. Credits and payment

• Generation is paid with prepaid credits. The exact credit cost of a task is shown before you start it; settlement is based on actual usage measured by the model provider, so the final charge can be equal to or lower than the amount reserved — never higher.
• If a task fails, or is declined by content review, the credits reserved for it are released back to your balance automatically.
• Credits never expire.
• Purchases are processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Available packages and current pricing are listed on the Pricing page.
• Credits are a prepaid means of using the Service only. They are not money, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchased credits are non-refundable.
• If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, or if you delete your account, any remaining credits are forfeited without refund.

5. Prohibited content

You may not use the Service to create, upload, or request any of the following. Submissions are screened by automated systems and may be reviewed; any of these can cause a task to be declined, and serious or repeated violations lead to termination of the account without refund of remaining credits:

• Any content that sexualizes minors, in any style, including illustration and animation. Zero tolerance.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content: exposed genitals or nipples, or depictions of sexual acts.
• The likeness of a real, identifiable person — including public figures — without documented consent, and any “deepfake” content. The underlying models additionally refuse to animate photographs of real faces, including your own.
• Hateful or discriminatory content targeting ethnicity, religion, race, gender, or other protected characteristics.
• Promotion or glorification of terrorism, extremism, violence, or self-harm.
• Political disinformation, and content taking positions on territorial or geopolitical disputes.
• Content that is illegal under applicable law, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Do not attempt to bypass content moderation, rate limits, or any security measure.
• Do not remove, hide, or tamper with AI-content watermarks or provenance identifiers embedded in outputs.
• Do not present outputs as authentic recordings of real events or real people.
• Do not scrape the Service or access it by automated means outside the documented API.
• Do not reverse engineer the Service.
• Do not resell or sublicense access to the Service itself, and do not share API keys with third parties. Using your outputs commercially is allowed under Section 7.

7. Your content and your outputs

• You keep all rights you already hold in the prompts and media you upload. You must have the necessary rights to anything you upload.
• So that the Service can work, you grant us the permissions needed to store your inputs, screen them for safety, transmit them to the AI model provider, and generate, store, and deliver results to you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not publish your creations.
• As between you and MyDreamVid, generated outputs belong to you, and you may use them commercially. Outputs are produced by AI models: similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users from similar requests, and no exclusivity is promised.
• You are responsible for how you use outputs, including any legal duty to disclose that content is AI-generated.

8. Developer API

• These Terms, including all content rules, apply equally to use through the API.
• API keys belong to your account and must be kept secret. Keys used abusively may be revoked.
• Rate limits and concurrency limits apply and may change as capacity changes.

9. Service changes

The AI models behind the Service are supplied by third parties. Models, features, limits, and pricing may change or be discontinued. Pricing changes apply to future tasks only — never retroactively to credits already spent.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any output will be accurate, of a particular quality, or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from content you submit or from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

• You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the Account page. Deletion removes your stored content and forfeits any remaining credits.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts as described in Sections 5 and 6. Credits remaining on an account terminated for violations are forfeited.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
