What is MyDreamVid?
A web studio for generating short videos with the Seedance family of models. You write a prompt (or upload an image), see the exact credit cost, and download the finished clip.
How are credits consumed?
Each generation quotes a cost in credits before you start (1 credit = $0.01). The quote is reserved when you submit and settled when the video finishes. If the final usage is lower than the quote, the difference is returned.
Are credits refunded when a generation fails?
Yes, automatically and in full. Declined prompts, provider errors and timeouts all release the reserved credits back to your balance.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay on your account until you use them.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. You own the videos you generate and can use them in commercial work, subject to our content policy and to the rights you hold in any images you upload.
How do the Seedance versions differ?
2.5 is the highest quality with native audio and clips up to 30 seconds. 2.0 Fast is quicker and cheaper for iteration. 2.0 Mini is the lowest-cost option for tests and social snippets. Compare them on the Models page.
Why was my prompt declined?
We don't generate sexual content, content involving minors, real identifiable people, political or territorial propaganda, hate speech, or violent and self-harm content. The model's own review can also decline prompts. Rewording usually helps.
My 1080p video won't play in the browser.
1080p output uses H.265/HEVC. Download it and open it in any video player, or generate at 720p for guaranteed inline playback.
