Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy explains what MyDreamVid collects when you use the website, workspace, and API, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what is needed to run an account-based, prepaid generation service, and nothing aimed at advertising. We do not sell personal data, and there are no third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site.

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile name from Google instead of a password.
• Content: text prompts, reference images, video, and audio you upload, film project text (ideas, outlines, scripts), and the outputs generated for you.
• Purchase records: which credit package you bought and a ledger of credit movements. Card and payment details are handled entirely by our payment partner, Dodo Payments, and never reach our servers.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form, along with your email address so we can reply.
• Technical data: IP address (used for security and rate limiting, and kept with sign-in session records), a random identifier stored in your browser, and standard server logs.

How we use it

• Running the Service: accounts, generation tasks, and credit accounting.
• Safety: submissions are checked by automated content-moderation systems before generation, and may be reviewed when abuse is suspected.
• Security and anti-abuse: rate limiting, fraud prevention, and payment-dispute handling.
• Email: transactional only — welcome message, password resets, purchase receipts, and replies to your messages. We send no marketing email.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to operate MyDreamVid, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Infrastructure and security providers that host the site, store files, and help protect the service against automated abuse.
• The AI provider behind the option you choose, which receives your prompt and any reference media solely to generate your result.
• Our payment processor, which handles purchases under its own terms and privacy policy; we never receive your full card details.
• An email provider that delivers account messages such as receipts and password resets.
• A third-party sign-in provider, only if you choose that option to log in.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

MyDreamVid itself sets no tracking cookies. Your sign-in token and interface preferences are kept in your browser's local storage and stay on your device. Two embedded services may set their own cookies, strictly for their function: Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on sign-up and the contact form) and Google Sign-In (only if you use it).

Retention and deletion

• Your content stays until you delete it. Individual creations and uploads can be deleted in the workspace at any time.
• Deleting your account (Account page) removes your account data, your uploads, and your generated content from our storage.
• Payment records are kept by the payment processor under its own retention rules. Server logs and backups rotate on a schedule.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and infrastructure credentials are scoped to the minimum needed. The most sensitive data — payment details — never touches our systems at all.

Your rights

You can view and change account details, and delete content or your whole account, directly in the workspace. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights over your personal data (such as access, correction, or portability); to exercise them, contact us at the address below.

Children

The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

International processing

MyDreamVid serves users worldwide. Your data is processed on our servers and on our providers' networks, which may be located in countries other than yours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
